Williamsburg Independent Schools is still seeking advice from state and local law enforcement to make the safest decision for our students and staff. Be on the lookout for an announcement regarding school procedures for Wednesday, September 11, 2024, around 4 pm today. Take care, Jacket Family!

After communication with state and local officials, I have made the decision to cancel school for tomorrow. There will be no extracurricular events or practices during regular scheduled school hours. Coaches and sponsors will communicate with families regarding tomorrow’s evening activities. If you need assistance or have questions, please email your child’s teacher or email me directly at tabetha.housekeeper@wburg.kyschools.us. The safety and wellbeing of our Jacket Family is of the upmost importance. Keep praying for peace in our community and safety for law enforcement.
Out of an abundance of caution and much consideration, School has been cancelled for September 9, 2024. School offices will be closed tomorrow. ATTENTION ALUMNI: Come join us for the WHS Alumni Tailgate Party tomorrow from 5-7 at the Williamsburg Convention Center. We will have Texas Roadhouse cooking out for us, headed by Alumni Kevin Siler. The event is free and family friendly. We gladly accept donations. Then join us as we cheer on our Jackets to Victory!
